Physics Calendar
WEEK 2 (Sept 13)
-Review graphing rules and guidelines
-Football Field Graphing Motion Activity
-Plot the three data sets on a graph. Use a straight edge to draw a best fit straight line for and calculate the slopes for the person walking and the person running. Do not draw lines "dot-to-dot" and do not draw a line for the data of the person who sped up.
Week 1 (Sept 9)
-Discuss course syllabus
-Notes on average speed and rearranging v=d/t
-Discuss the Physics 500 activity, measurements-what do they mean, outliers, be discriminating with your data, does it make sense?, units and confidence levels in your results
-Math Inventory
-Review graphing rules and guidelines
Hand in Physics 500 and the Math Inventory
(Sept 7)
- Welcome, intro and phun with physics
- LAB-Physics500 Lab activity
- Constant velocity lab on the football field, collect data.
- HOMEWORK:Go to PhysicsClassroom(TPC) and read "Speed & Velocity" in Lesson1.
